Concert - Sioux City, IA
I am a priest of the Diocese of Sioux City in Iowa. On Pentecost Sunday, our St. Michael Parish along with many guests in the region and surrounding states, experienced one of the most beautiful evenings of music and sharing that we have ever experienced with John Michael Talbot. I know this because I experienced it and have been bombarded by people around town who attended.
Throughout the concert, he had 600 people enwrapped with his anointed music.
One person said, ‘I’m not a connoisseur of guitar music, but I have never seen anything like it. I cannot put into words how much I enjoyed it!”
A Priest friend of mine called me the next day and left a glowing message about how beautiful his voice sounded and how unbelievable his guitar plating was.
Some parishioners reported healings during the concert.
John Michael spanned his entire lifetime of music and ministry with songs from 1976 all the way to present, playing his most requested and most loved songs. The only way I could express it to him was, “FABULOUS!” In the first half hour, John Michael played well known songs that the people could sing along with but then he went into a “storyteller” format that took the crowd to the stratosphere!
Finally, once again we all heard songs that he hasn’t played for years (and even decades) and the songs were better than ever! He shared profound stories of interest and conversion along with a delightful sense of humor.
We found some great donors to pay for John Michaels fee and then ended up clearing over $20,000.00 for Holy Cross School.
I think it’s pretty obvious that we were 100% satisfied and hence highly recommend John Michael to come to bless your Parish with his eminent gift of Inspired and even life-changing music!
Thank you for considering this ministry in your parish!
In Christ,
Fr. David Hemann V.F.
