On Our Youth, and World Youth Day
John Michael Talbot

The Church shows us the clear message of Jesus Christ in an uncompromised, yet loving and open way in World Youth Days.

I have received reports from our Catholic Association of Musicians, and our Federation of Catholic Music Associations, confirming that the Spirit of God has been released among our youth in a way unparalleled anywhere else.

Millions have come together in Jesus' name to be both challenged and encouraged. The Pope continues to proclaim the Gospel in an uncomprimised, yet open and loving way, reaching the youth, not by stooping to the level of the fallen world, but by simply being a holy man of God. He understands the youth, but calls them to truly counter-cultural holiness. He does this in a way that is clearly Catholic, but fully open to, and supported by all Christians, and believers in God.

He speaks the Truth in an uncomprimised way, but in a way that also understands that Truth is also Reality, as in Jesus simply BEING the Way, the Truth, and the Life through the paradox of the Incarnation, and the Paschal Mystery of the cross and the resurrection.

Every religion speaks, not only objective faith and morality, but also the mystery of spiritual Paradox. Jesus fulfills all that has come before by simply BEING this paradox in a way that no one else ever has, or will.

World Youth Day proclaims this reality in a loving, clear voice. The youth TRULY love JPII! The youth are being called to the real Jesus.
