Comment: Dear Brother Talbot and Family,
I am so sorry to learn of your loss but rejoice in knowing no one was injured in the fire. I have loved your music since the early 1990s when first I became aware of your great gift and ministry. God Bless You All and in your work to rebuild the monastery. You are in my prayers. Renee Gisele

Comment: Dear brother John Michael:
I attended your concert last night in Sherwood Park. Thank you for your ministry. I first heard your music as a 16 year old on the Larry Black radio show at midnight on a summer's evening. 'He is Risen' still resonates in my soul. Your ministry blesses so many people, and has served as an oasis for my soul time and again. Attending a Baptist church (yes, I was singing along last night) but clinging to the nail-scarred hands of Christ by His grace through the Holy Spirit. I am heavy with feelings, but short on words, brother. Lord Bless you and your community as He sees you through the rebuilding and journey He has prepared for you. More than thirty years have passed since God started speaking to me through your ministry...Grace and Peace to you.

Comment: It is only human nature to be saddened by the news of your devastation at the hermitage. However, it is with the Power of GOD'S Grace, that I know that the Spirit of the Lord will LIFT each & everyone of you up to a brighter tomorrow as you learn to recover and rebuild...and for that, we mustn't let our saddened hearts linger forever. Whenever I think of your devastation, may I come before God to pray soulfully, to give you strength and perseverance -- and that your resources to rebuild be plentiful and abundant, only in Honor of God's Grace. My heart cries for you all, but my soul rejoices in the LORD for your SAFETY through all this. When you sense a dab of Peace in your recovery, may that remind you of someone saying a Prayer for each and every one of you. Catholic Community: universal - we will be here, helping you: in prayer, in song, in tears and in person.

Comment: How shocked I was to learn of your recent fire- I was actually looking to see if the hermitage had been touched by the tornadoes that tore up Arkansas. I am saddened to learn of this tremendous loss. You will most certainly be remembered in my prayers. I have no doubt something good will come of this- as we know, God does work in mysterious ways! God bless you, John Michael, as you make your way across Canada this May. Pam T.

Comment: John Michael, Viola and friends. I was so sad to hear of your loss in the fire. Thank God no one was seriously injured. I will always remember my time at Little Portion in March of 2006. Charity Chapel is where I first held the hand in prayer of someone who became very important to me. We experienced a devastaion to ashes of our relationship and it's the promise of the Lord's resurrection power that keeps me in faith. I have no doubt, though the coming days will be challenging, that the recovery and new structures will be witness to this awesome resurrection power and testimony of your great faith. God bless you and keep you in health and peace, providing for every need.
Love in Christ,
Joyce
